Secret Beauty Skin Studio (formerly Extraordinary Skin) is an esthetics studio run by Basia Kelly, a California licensed esthetician, at Phenix Salon and Suites · 15731 Bernardo Heights Parkway, Suite 117, San Diego, CA 92128. This policy explains what information we collect through secretbeauty.studio and when you book with us, and what we do with it.

When you send a booking request, we collect your name, email address, phone number, the service you're interested in, your preferred days and times, and anything you write in your message. If you call, text or email us, we keep that conversation so we can help you.

Before your first treatment we ask you to complete an intake form and, for some services, a consent form. These cover your skin, health history, medications and allergies. They are collected at the studio, not through this website, and are used only to keep your treatments safe and suitable for you.

We use Google Analytics, loaded through Cloudflare Zaraz, to understand how visitors use the site (for example, which pages are viewed and roughly where visits come from). When you send a booking request, we record that as a conversion so we can tell which of our ads, listings and printed materials are working.

If you arrive from a link or QR code that carries campaign tags (such as utm_source) or a Google Ads click ID, the site saves those tags, the page you landed on and the referring site in your browser's local storage for up to 90 days. They are sent with your booking request so we know how you found us. You can clear them at any time by clearing your browser's site data.

The booking form is protected by Cloudflare Turnstile, which checks that a real person is submitting it. Our host, Cloudflare, processes your IP address to deliver the site, prevent abuse and limit repeated submissions.

We use your information to respond to your request, confirm and manage appointments (Basia usually confirms by text, or by email if she can't reach you), provide your treatments safely, keep records of your visits, and understand and improve our website and marketing.

We do not sell your personal information, and we never use your intake or health information for marketing.

We share information only with the companies that help us run the studio, and only as needed for that purpose: Cloudflare (website hosting, security and analytics delivery), Google (analytics and ad measurement), Resend (sending booking emails, including the confirmation email you receive), and Twilio (a text notification to Basia when a new request arrives). Each handles data under its own privacy policy. We may also disclose information if required by law.

We keep booking requests and client records for as long as you are a client and for a reasonable period afterwards to meet our professional and legal obligations. Campaign tags stored in your browser expire after 90 days. Analytics data is kept according to our Google Analytics retention settings.

You can ask to see, correct or delete the personal information we hold about you by emailing [email protected]. California residents may also ask what personal information we have collected and how it is used, and we will not treat you differently for making a request.

You can limit analytics by using your browser's privacy settings or an ad or tracker blocker, and you can opt out of personalized Google ads at adssettings.google.com.

We use reasonable measures to protect your information, including encrypted (HTTPS) connections and limited access to client records. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, so we cannot guarantee absolute security.

This website is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect their information online. Treatments for clients under 18 require a parent or guardian's consent.

If we change this policy, we'll update it here and change the date at the top of the page.
