Terms of Service

These terms apply to this website and to appointments at Secret Beauty Skin Studio (formerly Extraordinary Skin), Phenix Salon and Suites · 15731 Bernardo Heights Parkway, Suite 117, San Diego, CA 92128. By requesting a booking or receiving a treatment, you agree to them.

Treatments are provided by Basia Kelly, a California licensed esthetician (license Z112701, California Board of Barbering and Cosmetology). All services are cosmetic and within the scope of an esthetician's license. They are not medical treatment and are not a substitute for advice from a doctor or dermatologist.

Sending a request through the website does not reserve a time. Your appointment is confirmed only once Basia contacts you by text or email to confirm it. Automated confirmation emails only acknowledge that we received your request.

Please give at least 24 hours' notice to cancel or reschedule, so the time can be offered to another client. Late cancellations or no-shows may be subject to a fee. If you arrive late, your treatment may need to be shortened so the next client isn't delayed.

Before treatment you'll complete an intake form and any consent forms that apply. Please tell us about any medical conditions, pregnancy, medications (including retinoids and acne treatments), allergies, recent procedures or sun exposure, and let us know if anything changes before a later visit. Incomplete or inaccurate information can affect your safety and results.

We may recommend a patch test before some services, and we may modify, postpone or decline a treatment if it isn't safe or suitable for your skin that day. Clients under 18 need a parent or guardian's written consent.

Results vary from person to person, and we can't guarantee a specific outcome. Some concerns need a series of treatments. Following the pre-care and aftercare instructions we give you is an important part of getting good, safe results. If you notice an unexpected reaction, contact us right away and seek medical care if needed.

Payment is due at the time of service. We accept cash, check, Zelle and Venmo. We do not accept credit or debit cards. Prices shown on the website are current at the time of publishing and may change; the price confirmed when you book is the price you pay for that appointment. Any promotional offer applies only on the terms stated with it.
